Your Rights Over Your Data
Overview
Your data is yours.
We are committed to giving you control over your personal data, which includes your profile information and the content you share on YUBO.
You decide what data you want to share, what you want to delete or modify. You can ask to download a file with all your data. Most of the time, this can be done directly in the app, as described below.
Below are the main privacy rights YUBO users have.
More information is available in our Privacy Policy.
How to exercise your privacy rights
On Yubo, you have the right to:
- request access to your personal data anytime. The easiest way to do this is to go to account settings > Safety and privacy > Personalization and data > Get my data.
- rectify your personal data. You can update most of your data directly on the YUBO app.
- request erasure (deletion) of your personal data. The easiest way to do this is to go to account settings > Delete my account.
- withdraw your consent (in the cases where we rely on your consent to process your data). You can withdraw your consent through in-app settings. You can do so by going to ‘Safety and Privacy’ > ‘Location’; or ‘Camera and microphone’; or ‘Personalization and data’. You can also go to ‘Push notifications’ to manage your notification permissions.
Reach out to us or write to privacy@yubo.live if you have any trouble exercising any of these rights or if you have any questions relating to your privacy on YUBO.
In countries of the European Union and the United Kingdom, you also have a right to file a complaint before a competent data protection authority if you have a concern regarding the processing of your personal data. While we suggest that you contact TWELVE APP beforehand to fix the issue, you may directly contact the competent data protection authority. You can find more information about your data protection authority if you live in the European Union here and in the UK here.
